Our parents share their heartfelt stories about their children  across the Western Cape who are unlikely to reach adulthood, or ever be able to live life unassisted. Families caring for these children – often 24 hours a day, seven days a week – are under enormous emotional, physical and financial strain. These are ordinary people leading extraordinary lives.

“My name is Marina de Freitas. I’m one of the moms in Iris House. I’m also a certified Life Coach. I believe  I’ve been through a long and very exciting journey myself because of my child and would really love to give back what I’ve gained. 

My niches are Parents of special needs kids and People who struggle with addictions, but I also do Life Coaching on general topics.

So if you feel that…
