How much time should a volunteer expect to give?
It is usual for our volunteers to give between 2 - 4 hours of their time each week, working on a rota basis. We also welcome volunteers on a ad-hoc basis and can call on them as and when needed. Volunteers need to be reliable and committed to their role. This ensures that service provision is maintained to the highest level.
When can you volunteer?
You can volunteer during the week or at weekends either in the day or in the evening. Rotas are covered from 9 am through until 9 pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year. If you are unable to make a regular commitment don’t worry, we are grateful for anytime you can give. Perhaps you could help at some of our fundraising events.
